Release notes for XB 0400 (XB 4.0)

XB/ZIB is a package developed by the Indian Health Service (IHS). It consists mostly of extra Fileman and Kernel utilities not found in vanilla Vista. Routines in the ZIB namespace only work on MSM or Cache; not on GT.M.

Release 4.0 only consolidates all the previous patches into one release. The last patch on ftp.ihs.gov/rpms/patches is 3.0 patch 11.

Many of those utilities, even in the XB namespace don't work on GT.M now. This release is to support other IHS software that depends on XB.

XB's main menu can be called with 'D ^XB'.

XB includes a version of David Bolduc's Electronic Data Dictionary utility otherwise released under VPE. It can be called by 'D ^XBHEDD'.
