Description

In our country we don't use SSN. What we use is the NIC (National Identification No. eg 766613918V). I'm not a programmer. I tried to change it in configuration utility, selecting FILE and PATIENT as record. But i get an error in GUI_Config.exe. I need to change the name of the field and the size to 10 string. Im using Astonaut on windows. Error is attached. Thanks for your help

I am the author of GUI_Config. The error you display is a server-side error. This reminds me of the error that was discussed (and fixed) here:

I hate to say this, but if you are going to use VistA outside of its original context, then you are going to have to make some modifications. And that is going to take someone with some programming experience.

I would recommend getting onto the hardhats message board (http://groups.google.com/group/hardhats) and ask how others have fixed this problem.

But for now, this is not a GUI_config bug. GUI_Config is just asking the server to carry out standard Fileman commands. And the error is happening outside the client application.
